Grassington B&B Accommodation
Tucked Away House – Grassington bed & Breakfast

Grassington is a thriving community and there is always something going on. The Town Hall at the top of the main street is the venue for regular events all year round from antique and collectors fairs to live music and theatre.

Added to that, there are festivals and events at pubs and halls around the village, so whenever you come to visit there is sure to be something going on somewhere.

Here is a list of events this year:

Dickensian Festival

The annual Dickensian Festival brings the real spirit of Christmas to the village in Victorian style. From hot chestnuts to traditional entertainment, a nativity procession with a real donkey and of course, Father Christmas, the festive atmosphere is magical.

Grassington 1940’s Weekend

Following the success of the 1940’s weekend in 2012, 2013 and 2014 Grassington is to host the event again this year. Tucked Away House is the ideal base to see and experience the village, it inhabitants and visitors going back in time to the 1940’s. You may hear Winston Churchill giving one of his famous speaches or catch a glimps of a spy? see a member of the resistance, a pilot, a naval officer or any of the armed forces around the village, not to mention the fashions from that era. Grassington is a rural area with a thriving farming community so it is unlikely you will find dried eggs or milk on our breakfast menu!
